Requirements for export of pet (Dog and cat) out of India
The pet for examination by the officer.
Veterinary health certificate (Fit to fly by road/Air/Train) from any Local Registered Veterinarian.
Microchip Certificate.
Vaccination details of pet.
Passport copy of the owner.
Air ticket Copy of the owner.
Airway bill in case the pet is going through cargo.
If owner is not available to visit AQCS then the authorized person shall submit an authority letter.
Any specific requirements of importing country (like- Import permit, Blood titre test etc.).
02 Post Card size Photographs (Light facing) size 4x6 inches of the pet.
A photocopy of all the documents along with original has to be brought to AQCS.
Export certificate is valid for 10 days from the date of issue / Examination in AQCS.
Note
All the above documents shell be submitted self attested/ by authorized person (Original and Xerox copy) to the Quarantine office with Pet animal 7 days prior to embarkation for obtaining the NOC with prior appointment.
If the pet is not of eligible age for any vaccination the vaccination record of mother has to be produced along with pet.
The application Performa has to be filled in separately for each pet with all details.
The pet owners are advised to confirm prior appointment (7 days) with the concerned officer of AQCS either on mail / Telephone before visiting the office.
